Was planning to go to a few shops to shop around but went to Cadence in Highland Village first and had the best experience with Jerry.
My experience at the HV store was great. First time, my giant wheelset developed a noise at the rear hub, I forgot the gentleman's name, but he made the attempt the solve the problem for me, called the Giant tech support although they didn't have a remedy. The shop didn't bill me at all. I was impressed of their service and willingness to solve a customer's problem.
After visiting several bike shops (both big box and local shops) looking for an entry level mountain bike, Cadence was a breath of fresh air. Jocelyn helped me quickly find exactly what I needed, and answered all my newbie questions. Highly recommended!
I stopped by here to see what they had to offer in the way of information and the type of bike I wanted. Great service and information. I test rode a bike, but did not get it.
My second Visit I dealt with Steve, I need some tires replaced. 30min before closing. He instantly put on his gloves then go to work with no hesitation, I was in and out within 15min. Steve was friendly and polite as well.
He spent a few hours fitting all of us and finding 5 bikes in our price range.
He took the time to fit each kid by having them test ride multiple bikes (they have a nearly empty parking lot behind the shop for test rides). He was patient and helpful. Plus he spoke our language being that we are novices at biking.
So glad we didn't go buy a bike off the shelf at a department store.
Jerry is a first class sales professional... meaning he cared about getting us into something we all liked and didn't push us towards the highest end bikes.
