Strike one star for the Twenty-Five minute wait at the snack bar during a Sunday matinee due to understaffing - only two teenagers behind the counter.
One more star off for the broken urinal, several broken sinks, and complete lack of soap in the entire facility.
Bathrooms were so incredibly disgusting and almost none of the stalls had toilet paper. The state of the women's restroom was the same on two separate occasions.
Add one star back for the Incredibly positive attitudes of the teenagers behind the counter. They worked like Trojans never got rattled despite some pretty angry soccer moms.
Strike another star for the overpowering smell of ammonia permeating the bathrooms.
Modern, state-of- the-art screens and sounds, including IMAX to 3D, allows something for everyone. Seats are industry size, so no bonus here. To date, have enjoyed my experience at this location for nearly 100 films. (Continue to visit this location once or twice per month since 2010.) With many cashiers, the concession flows rather quickly. Offers alcoholic drinks to hot dogs to chicken nugget dinners to a wide variety of candies, making it a hit for the whole family. Priced competitively. Ask for discounts, from senior to military. Offers a cinema membership, which, if you visit twice during the year, will more than pay for itself (valid for tickets and concession; may combine with military and most other discounts). Staff is well-trained and will also assist disabled and elderly patrons upon request. Parking, which isn't a deal-breaker, is however, substandard, and you may have to walk more than you would at some of the other theaters, but, still, well worth the experience.
Went in Saturday night 10/14, not very busy. Ladies restroom was very dirty. We politely told the gentleman taking out tickets that the restroom was dirty and needed cleaning. Popcorn counter filthy, floor in movie sticky, men's restroom was not horrible but not great. The worst part of our experience was that no one bothered to clean the ladies restroom while we watched our movie. Smelled, same unusable stalls, popcorn counter still disgusting. I would not have written a negative review except for the fact that this shows me they don't care after we alerted them to an issue in the restroom. Also seems to me that management doesn't care about it's customers and needs to retrain employees. Super nice area, but won't revisit this AMC anytime soon.
Outdated theatre with uncomfortable chairs- do not recommend! Will be seeing movies at Movie house and Eatery from now on with recliners and clean restrooms.
Almost no parking available in highland village shops- so prepare to walk a good distance to and from your car.
This theater is exemplary. It's a huge movie house with every screen room having coliseum style seating and recliners that stretch out with a simple push of a button. The sound system here is without rival in the movie business! The digital sound is amplified through so many speakers it sounds as if you are in the movie among the action. It's a little more expensive here than it is at other theaters, but if you want to watch a movie in indolent repose without people yelling at different points throughout the movie then come here. You pay for what you get.
Strike a second star for the fact that there wasn’t a manager in sight.
