If you don't know how to cut hair why are you working here?! I drove a long way to get my 4 year-old's hair cut here because of all the great reviews. I kid you not, that lady screwed my daughter's hair. I am now at a different hair salon waiting to have it fixed.
My kids have come here and handful of times. The fun chairs, movies, and Xbox have been a big hit, plus they can pick out a small (expensive) toy on the way out. They haircuts have never been great, but no tears has made the trip with it. My 2 year old lost his cool at his last visit and while trying to finish his haircut a second stylist came over, grabbed the clippers from our stylist, and proceeded to go crazy on his hair! He was almost done and this lady had not spoken to me or the stylist with what I wanted or what she had already done. So now he has long hair on the front and short hair up to his cowlick on the back. I died and cried inside, and while they didn’t charge for his haircut, I’m so disappointed in how unprofessional the second stylist was. Now I have to decide if I keep his butchered haircut and wait for it to grow back out or cut it super short to blend it with the damage. It literally looks like he took the clippers to his own head! My daughter’s hair looks fine, except the 1-1.5” she took off is more like 4”. This was our last trip to Pigtails and Crewcuts.
Tabitha is very sweet and did an excellent job on my son's hair. All of the staff is very friendly and are very experienced stylists that are great with kids.
We have been to this location many times and love Pigtails and Crewcuts. The stylists are all friendly and so nice. The train table adds extra fun while kids are waiting and the fun chairs and tv make haircuts easy. My son actually looks forward to getting his haircut. Weekdays are the best especially morning or 1-2pm. Weekends tend to have a longer wait.
Went in for a boys cut, asked for a 6 on top and 3 on the sides. The lady who helped us obviously had no clue what she was doing because she started with a ONE!!!!! My sons hair was butchered. We paid and went to the car very displeased. Ended up going back inside seconds later and asking for a refund. They said theyd do it and we left...weeks later and still no refund. Make the drive to Southlake for Sharkeys!
